So my bosses ask me to set up this new dual opteron server they picked up with Windows 2003 so we can try to build a 64-bit version of the program we develop, but this program uses a Rainbow Sentinel hardware key to keep people from stealing it and I can't get the drivers to work.
If I install the 32-bit version of the Sentinel drivers, it says it needs to reboot and then gives me 'The Sentinel service failed to start due to the following error: This driver has been blocked from loading' in the Event Viewer when it's done restarting. I would assume this is some kind of permissions problem (Win2003 already seems especially paranoid about EVERYTHING, even from only playing with it for an hour or two), but I've looked around and I can't figure out how to fix it.
The 64-bit drivers won't even install and claim they won't work with the processors I've got installed (gee that's helpful).
